Who we are

This site is operated by Elute Research [ENTITY TYPE AND STATE OF ORGANIZATION], with its fulfillment location in the United States. You can reach us at support@eluteresearch.com.

Research use only

For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use or consumption. Not for diagnostic use. Not evaluated by the U.S. FDA.

Products are sold only to qualified researchers for laboratory research. By placing an order you confirm that you are 21 years of age or older, that you are a qualified researcher, and that you will handle, store and dispose of the products in line with the laws and institutional rules that apply to you.

Who can order

We ship only to addresses in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. We do not ship to US territories or outside the United States. [COUNSEL: confirm whether any state should be excluded.]

We may refuse or cancel any order, including where we believe the products are intended for a use other than laboratory research.

Orders, prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added where it applies. An order is accepted when we confirm payment; until then we may cancel it, for example if an item is no longer available.

Stock is held for 30 minutes while a card payment is completed. Orders paid by invoice must be paid within 7 days, after which the order is cancelled and its stock released. [COUNSEL: confirm payment processor and invoice terms.]

Lots and certificates

Each unit ships from a specific lot. Each lot has a public page with its status and, once the laboratory issues it, its certificate of analysis. The certificate describes a sample drawn from the lot, in the words used on each lot page:

A sample drawn from lot {LOT} was tested by {LAB} on {DATE} (accession {ID}). Results describe the tested sample as representative of the lot. Individual vials were not individually tested.

We sell only lots with the status Released. The lot number printed on your packing slip is the one to look up.

A lot cannot be sold, allocated, packed or shipped before its approved certificate is attached and the full release checklist is complete. A historical certificate-pending label is not permission to sell or fulfill that lot.

Shipping, title and risk

Orders ship from the United States under the shipping policy published on this site. [COUNSEL: confirm when title and risk of loss pass to the buyer.]

Cancellations, refunds and claims

Cancellations, refunds and claims for damaged or lost shipments are handled under our refunds policy.

Prohibited uses

You may not resell the products for any use other than research, relabel them, or present them as suitable for use in people or animals. We will cancel orders and close accounts that break these terms.

Warranties and liability

[COUNSEL: warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability and indemnity to be drafted.] Our only statement about the contents of a vial is the certificate of analysis published on its lot page, which describes the tested sample.

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
