Certificates of analysis

A certificate of analysis describes a sample drawn from a lot and tested by the laboratory named on it. The lot page states the scope in these words:

A sample drawn from lot {LOT} was tested by {LAB} on {DATE} (accession {ID}). Results describe the tested sample as representative of the lot. Individual vials were not individually tested.
